Benedict Stanberry
I grew up in Alton and moved to Froyle in 2018. My close family still live in the area and our connections with the village go back to the 17th century. In my professional life I am the director of the Institute for Health Economics and Outcomes Research, where I help evaluate new medicines, medical devices and other treatments.
From 2020 to 2022, I was a member of the No Wey Incinerator campaign, which successfully opposed plans for a waste-to-energy plant beside the A31 near the village. As a Parish Councillor I hope to continue protecting and enhancing our village for the benefit of both current and future generations.
