1. Short Lower Froyle Loop (approx 30 minutes)

The last field can be a bit muddy after rain. Suitable for dogs and all abilities. Shorts are okay. Small amount of walking on the road.

From the Village Hall Car Park facing the road, turn left along Ryebridge Lane and approximately 250 yards along cross over and turn right into Bamber Lane. Follow Bamber Lane up the large incline and when you reach the top of the hill you will see a large house on your left which is Saintbury Hill.

Go past Saintbury Hill and you will find a gate on the right hand side, go through the gate and down the field boundary towards the hedge and trees.  At the bottom of this field go through a metal gate, cross a small bridge and another metal gate and carry on straight ahead along the path through the middle of the bottom field with an impressive view across Lower Froyleto the gate at the bottom left hand corner.

Go through the gate and follow along  a narrow path between two gardens until you reach the road by Stable Cottage. Be careful as the path comes right out onto the road with no gate. Turn right here and walk down Froyle Road into the village until you get to the T junction with the Parish Noticeboard, turn right here into Ryebridge Lane to get back to the Village Hall Car Park.
